Louie Psihoyos, Academy Award Winner and Director of “The Cove,”was recognized with a Golden Goody Award (top award for social good) for his outstanding achievements in ocean conservation through film and photography, at the LA Convention Center. For this World Oceans Month Campaign, the Goody Awards provided pro bono PR for his cause, Oceanic Preservation Society. The award was presented by Norweigan Model and Actress Lillian Muller.
Shout out to Dani Bowman, Autistic Teen Animator, who received a Golden Goody Award (top award like an Oscar for Social Good) during our Autism Awareness Month campaign. Dani has illustrated two anti-bully books, an anti-bully PSA for Rethinking Autism, taught 150+ autistic children how to do animation, runs her own animation company called PowerLight Studios, and won the Temple Grandin Award.
