Goody Awards kicks off WorldCup4Good Campaign with Special Awards

Love Futbol Goody AwardsTo honor local, national and global nonprofits and social enterprises doing good in the soccer space, the Goody Awards kicked off a #WorldCup4Good campaign last night at Sports and Social Change’s World Cup Kickoff Los Angeles event. This marketing campaign will continue through the World Cup 2014 (June 12-July 13) through online awards, and we encourage everyone to look for the good in the games and tweet #GoodyAwards with #WorldCup4Good.

During this Sports and Social Change event, leaders and teams from 12 organizations were recognized for doing good with Hero Goody Award tags and a special Golden Goody Award (our top humanitarian award) for love.fútbol spokesperson Hernanes (#18 for Brazil National Team) who helped raise $32,000 for love.fútbol plus matched the first $25,000 on Prizeo for a trip to the World Cup.

Hero Goody Award tags were given to individuals recognized as global citizens making a difference. Big Congratulations to:
