Anderson Hernanes raised over $57,000 for love.fútbol to help transform lives.

Along with inspiring youth globally, promoting this great cause, and rallying his Brazil National Football teammates to support love.fútbol, Hernanes raised $32,328 (plus matched the first $25,000) for a total of over $57,000 for love.fútbol for a chance to win a trip to the 2014 World Cup Brazil and meet Hernanes and his friends.

For this fundraising campaign on Prizeo, Hernanes shared, “I have a dream that every kid that grows up in Brazil has a safe place to play the beautiful game. That’s why I’m here on Prizeo to help raise money for an incredible charity called love.fútbol.”

Because Hernanes had a World Cup game the next day, virtual congratulations were sent via video at this Sports and Social Change World Cup Kickoff event in Los Angeles by US-based nonprofits and social enterprises in English, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.
