Mason Glazier (ISF) receives Hero Goody Necklace

8-yr-old Mason Glazier @MasonGlazier received a Hero Goody necklace today in England from Angie Trombley @FansofBOB that represents global citizens making a positive impact. And Mason is already making a huge difference with the Ian Somerhalder Foundation (ISF) and Bob Somerhalder’s BOB (Built of Barnwood) this holiday.

Below is the letter the Goody Awards received about from Angie about why she is giving this special recognition to Mason:

How many 8 year olds do you know who have climbed a mountain, trained and completed a bike ride, gave up their 8th birthday presents and now their Christmas presents, all in the name of raising donations for a non-profit organization?

Well I know one, and that is why I am giving Mason Glazier the #HeroGoody Award Necklace. He is an extraordinary young man, who is much wiser than his 8 years. He is humble, compassionate, loving and determined. That is a formula for success.

Mason has done all of the things I spoke of above in the name if the Ian Somerhalder Foundation (ISF). His goal is to be sure he helps get the ISF Animal Sanctuary built. This Sanctuary will do more than give animals a second chance. It will also work to rehabilitate bullies by teaching compassion.

He also helps me to support and promote Bob Somerhalder and his green and sustainable business, BOB (Built Of Barnwood.) Mason is a hero and an inspiration. Knowing that he is on the path he is on, and knowing how true and committed he is in helping to Be The Change, I have no doubt that his name will be world renown one day for his charity work.
