#HeroGoody Award of the Year @IanSomerhalder: After consistently winning Hero Goody of the Month for 6 out of 12 months, Ian Somerhalder was also recognized as the Hero Goody of the Year by fan votes. We were fortunate to meet Ian at the Social Good Summit in NYC in September 2013, where he was speaking on a panel for RYOT News. He is a positive force for good, and it comes from the heart. He encourages everyone to share their voice on Twitter, and take positive action by sharing RYOT News (who posts an action with every story.) Ian believes that we need more “compassion” in the world, and his fans are some of the most compassionate people you will ever meet. @ISF_Steffi tweeted, I nominate @iansomerhalder for a #HeroGoody #GoodyAwards for giving us #ISF and for influencing soo many people’s lives positively 🙂
