Sundance Film Festival – Team Goody of the Month

For putting together an amazing film festival for 45,000+ people and with livestream sessions reaching a global audience, the 2013 Sundance Film Festival staff and 1,830 volunteers were voted as the Team Goody of the Month for January 2013.

In kicking off the press conference, Robert Redford reflected, “Change, since it’s inevitable. Some people fight it; resist it, because they’re afraid. And other people, ok, they accept it, and kind of roll along with it, and then there’s another group that sees it in a positive way that they can take advantage of change, and not only go with it, but use it – and I think that’s where I am and always have been, and I think that’s where Sundance is. When you think about art, you can look at it as an agent of change. The festival, being as diverse as it is, shows all kinds of content, and that gives the audience a chance to choose that’s not quite so available in the main marketplace.”
