George Lucas receives Hero Goody of the Month for June 2013

Big congrats to our top 6 Goody Awards of the Month for June 2013, including George Lucas for Hero Goody of the Month. Fans tweeted Goody Awards for George Lucas (“Star Wars”) after he was honored at the Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards this month with their Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award®. His George Lucas Educational Foundation’s goal is to improve the K-12 learning experience, and he was praised for mentoring many women in Hollywood.

These 6 user-voted winners for Goody Awards of the Month for June include entertainment leaders, environmentalists saving our oceans, philanthropists and a guy doing good deeds. Congrats @WildAid @JakeRaph @GeorgeLucas66 @BillGates @PictureHealing and @WIF_LosAngeles. These social good leaders will be added to our Superstars, and are now in the running for Goody Awards of the Year.

We had a tie this month for Team Goody between Picture Healing (who supported a Big Brothers Big Sisters Conference in Denver) and Women In Film Los Angeles (who had their Crystal + Lucy Awards in June.) Ian Somerhalder is also still in the lead for Eco Goody of the Year, Hero Goody of the Year, and his IS Foundation is in the lead for Team Goody of the Year.
