Dave Ortiz – Hero Goody Necklace @Sundancefest

Boston Red Sox Player and World Series Winner David Ortiz received a Hero Goody Necklace from the Goody Awards at Sundance 2014 for his shelter dogs short film. This necklace is in the shape of a dog tag, and recognizes global citizens making a difference. Dave Ortiz was in Park City, Utah, to promote a new dogtales campaign by Pedigree.

Dave Ortiz’s short is called “A Home Run for Dogs.” In this short, David emphasizes, “Dogs are the best thing that can ever happen to a human. They are your true friend and it never goes away.” David says that he takes his dogs everywhere because “They are like my kids.” You can watch David Ortiz’s short here.
